WHY ATTEND SCTA SUMMER PROGRAM

The arts are embedded with important life skills, such as teamwork, leadership, effective communication, and much more. SCTA summer program enhances natural talent and gives participants the confidence they need to believe in themselves.  Students will gain the courage to perform and speak in front of groups, in addition to gaining various skills such as enhance self-worth, self-esteem, teamwork, trust, speech, etiquette, collaboration, and communication.  Participants will have the chance to appreciate the arts while enjoying safely from their own homes. Each week you will receive materials needed for the upcoming week. Campers will log on virtually to our Zoom platform (password protected) and teachers will conduct four-one-hour-lessons daily. The lessons require campers to complete hands-on projects, get-up, move around, dance, sing, stove-free cooking, draw, paint, laugh, and more!  Leading up to a culminating virtual performance. Everything your camper needs will be provided in the weekly box for hassle-free camp instruction. There will even be special in-house “field trips” each Friday.
